Was hoping to get my noms in, but in my defense, I was editing my Petula Clark interview. :afro:

Great interview Carl ! My parents had Pet's first 2 Hits "The Little Shoemaker" and "Majorca" on 78 RPM records. I hope you told her that "Don't Sleep In The Subway" made our Songfactors' Choice Top Ten. :)

I'm glad that you and Joe had a vote. Regulars who've missed nominating are always welcome to do

And just a plug for the PTTs. There's still quite a few people to vote in Ray(zor)'s yet. I was only familiar with 2 of Ray's songs before I listened to them all, and others may be in the same boat ? Please make an effort to listen and vote, as Kenne is trying for a duration of 10 days per PTT so we can quicker accommodate all who wish to submit one. (And don't tell Kenne I told you, but I think he's giving preference in the order to those who participate in others' PTTs. But you didn't hear it from me!) ;)

Amazing week, not nearly enough places for the number of songs I'd like to vote for. :(

Well I didn't get the Ten up as planned. I don't think Sammy has been on the thread since I posted we would have a 12.00 midnight Saturday closing time for voting.

As one of his nominations will certainly make it if he votes, I think he should be given an opportunity to do so. The song that would be knocked out of the Ten is one of my noms and shouldn't affect others. Goodnight/Morning All.

Good nomination Tim. But as I said to my Son-In-Law who's huge Old Bob fan, he wouldn't get past the first round of any of these TV talent shows. One of the greatest songwriters ever though. And I notice both RonJon and Cyberjudge nominated 2 songs each into the Ten this week. :)
