This sometimes happens in music, and I'm hoping to scare up some examples. Here's what we have so far: Peaches & Herb - Herb went back to the tree and picked a new Peaches when he needed one.Salt-N-Pepa - Their DJ, Spinderella, was replaced with another girl.Jay & The Americans - They went through a few different Jays, although I think every replacement really was named Jay Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Since they both had last names beginning with P, they were able to keep the name ELP. I've heard that Gwar has replaced the members in the same costumes over the years.
