pinkstones
This thread has taken a turn that tells me my Public Enemy nomination isn't going to do so well. Not that I expected it to. It'll definitely get my vote. Chuck D follows me on Twitter.

OLD 55
I like both heavy metal and hip-hop. I do like, and have voted for, some Metal Tracks. And I do listen to every song before I vote. But Rap/ Hip Hop just hasn't been the same since Vanilla Ice retired.
cyberjudge
Before I pulled the cover of this song from last week's covers TT (as the original artist also appeared on the cover) I noticed that the original itself has never made the TT. Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me - Elton John (1974) I'll come back later with 2 other noms. Edited May 15, 2013 by Guest
OLD 55
Brad and I are slowly restoring the Top Ten Archive. There was an error in a Top Ten as shown below. I've amended the "Every Song..." and "Every Artist..." Lists. *** I found discrepancies with Top Ten #288. A couple of songs were in the wrong order and "Ten Cent Pistol" by The Black Keys made the Top Ten and isn't on the list. The song "Rhythm Of My Heart" by Rod Stewart did not make the Top Ten and is eligible for re-nomination. Brad_M Yeah..well...sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand. If you want white MCs, Beastie Boys, MC Search, and Eminem are the way to go.

MindCrime
"Dig A Pony" - Beatles isn't on the list... Was it removed or changed? "I Dig a Pony" edit: Actually you're right Edna, it should be "Dig a Pony" not I Dig a Pony as the nominator had put. I will correct it and notify Brad so he knows not to make that confusion when tallying up the votes. Edited May 15, 2013 by Guest
