You should have voted, Double Nickel.

It doesn't matter if you nominated or what positions your votes change. Jenny ended up not voting anyway.

Whenever you see the final post isn't made yet, vote away.

 "You Better Move On" finally made it after being nominated more or less once every three Top Tens since the last 7 years...

That is very close, Edna.

You first nominated the song in July 2006 in:

Top Ten #22.

Then you renominated it again in:

Top Ten #111,121,125,127,202,231

You then nominated it once again in Top Ten #234 but withdrew the nomination because two other Stones songs were nominated in the same Ten.

Then you nominated it in:

Top Ten #249,259(Beautiful Losers)

Then you nominated the original version by Arthur Alexander in the Special:Covers

Then again in:

Top Ten #320(Valentine's Special)

And finally in:

Top Ten #321, finally making it.

In Top Ten #111, you had this to say:

Now, I will nominate "You Better Move ON" over and over till it makes it... :/

In Top Ten #121, you made this comment before finally getting "Blackberry Way" by The Move in after three years.

"You Better Move On" - Rolling Stones

"Blackberry Way" - The Move

I´m sure that if you give it a listen you´ll eventually understand those two songs are among the most beautiful songs in rock history.

Now that's a good example of determination and never giving up, Edna!

Edna, This is just a secret between you and me, so don't let anybody else know...now it's time to get Cygnet Committee a spot in SongFacts Top 10 history. You and I have tried numerous times with zero luck. I'm going to leave it up to you and nobody here will even know we are trying to slide Bowie's masterpiece into the "Ten". Remember, don't let anybody else know about it.

Ron
