Carl Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 Apparently, David Bowie used a surrealist film as his opening act for one of his tours. Bowie was also the opener for T. Rex at one point - as a mime. What are some other examples of opening acts that have nothing to do with music? Think performance artists, acrobats, comedians, laser shows, fireworks... whatever you've seen or heard of in an opener that has nothing to do with music.
TheLizard Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 I know Bill Hicks used to open up for Tool in the early 90s. That's a show I'd like to have attended.
