Anyway summer songs are nice but this one's kind of interesting. It's an early Carole King release. I kind of figured it's about someone who can't seem to enjoy the summer because their probably boyfriend is away. Even her friends can't convince her to come and join them for summer fun. Glimpses of her vast songwriting talent in this one, but I agree that a different singer could have brought more to it.
