BrilliantDisguise 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2012 Are any of you looking forward to seeing this or are you against actors singing classic rock songs? Personally for me I'm not in a rush to see this movie. I'll probably rent the DVD but I wouldn't pay money to see it in the theater. Here's the trailer and Tom Cruise singing 'Pour Some Sugar On Me'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddV2njGfX6g
RockyRaccoon 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2012 Meh I mean it looks alright. Don't think I'd rush to the movie theatre to throw my money at it. Might catch it on TV. I'd be interested to hear how Tom Cruise, Paul Giamatti and Alec Baldwin do singing.

Wyld Card 5 Report post Posted June 14, 2012 if that's how Tom Cruise sings, I'll wait until it comes to VH1 Classic in 5 years from now
Shawna 1 Report post Posted June 24, 2012 or... go see the live version when it comes to your town. I just interviewed one of the guys in the "band" (Andy Gerold) who's also my good friend's husband. Although I didn't catch the show when it was here last time, I'm definitely on board to see it next time around.
pinkstones 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2012 It looks god awful, if you want my honest opinion. Then again, I don't give people like Tom Cruise my money to begin with, since I don't want to support the celebrity cult that is the CoS. If I want to hear actors singing or imitating a rock band, I'll watch Almost Famous. Jason Lee did a fantastic freakin' job in that film, as did Billy Crudup. miamisammy29 4 Report post Posted June 25, 2012 It's either Chief of Staff, or Church of Scientology. I'm gonna go with the latter.
