lolli Posted September 2, 2004 Report Share Posted September 2, 2004 This 45 record was in Dialogue where a little girl is asking a man {maybe her father}questions about Billy, war ,and why do men fight,When is billy coming home? The man is replying to her questions. She keeps asking {Daddy why} or {Why daddy}.Then he tells her time for bed kitten. He says goodnight kitten.There is music in the back ground. The hit for this man was on the flip side of the 45 record.It was played on the radio alot.It was around the late 60's or very early 70's. We have been looking for over 5 years, people rememeber this song, parts of the dialogue and even hearing it on the radio. But no one can think of who it was.... See if you can think of any other verses that I can use to help narrow the search. I vaguely remember the song you are talking about but cannot for the life of me reach any accurate verse.
