Kevin1429030929
I agree , but wouldn't change a thing .Just think ...someone 'owns' this list now , and is good fodder to destroy at parties ... http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/shark-snack-photo-shark-eating-another-shark-whole-201036464.html
Rayzor
Prince is over-rated, Pretenders, Journey, The Doors and Janis all WAY under-rated... even then the list is not quite right... where's Foreigner? Why is LL Cool J even in there? 3 songs? Soooo many missing bands, but is only top 100... still sux
Farin
The Top 20 looks alright, I would have put Prince, James Brown and Stevie Wonder lower and instead put The Clash and Neil Young higher... Are Paul McCartney's solo efforts really that important? Also where's the electronic music? Kraftwerk? Tangerine Dream? Daft Punk? Also Björk's missing
MindCrime
Apparently this list was compiled by over 200 music artists. I think the biggest snubs are CCR, Eagles, Grateful Dead, and even the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I don't understand how Coldplay is on here, and that high even. Hard to believe anyone would think they're better than R.E.M. Same goes for Jay-Z, most of his songs he just raps about how great he is, when he's a really just a slow rapper that sounds like he's talking. Rayzor
I don't see why listing Lennon and McCartney apart from Beatles is necessary, they didn't list Ozzy apart from Sabbath... I'd like to know who they asked... no over 30 I bet also missing: Jethro Tull, The Animals... btw who is Sade?

And believe me, if they only asked those below 30 the list would look much different Radiohead, Coldplay higher, Lady Gaga isn't even mentioned, same with The White Stripes... Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Portishead, Massive Attack, Blur, Oasis etc. Sade is a pretty famous soul singer, you might know "Smooth Operator" or "No Ordinary Love" btw while writing my first comment I almost raged about it, because I first read it as 'Slade'
Rayzor
too funny lil bro! Actually, I've heard a couple of Sade tunes... my GF's are always into that type of thing. I was poking fun at the imbeciles tweeting @ Grammy's: "who is this paul mccartney guy?" I still think Sade would lose to Joan Jett in a street fight! CanAm
Elton John, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Steely Dan should all be higher. No CCR, no Seger, no Eagles, no Dire Straits and no Mellencamp......what a travesty!!! And LL Cool J, Notorious B.I.G., N.W.A. and Justin Timberlake......Puhlease!!!
