Steel2Velvet
Good job America! From the view of a European you absolutely made the right choice Well then, congratulations Europe!
Ken
I guess Ted Nugent has a promise to fulfill now! Kudos to the US for a wise choice on Presidents.
TheLizard
I'd also like to congratulate Joe Donnelly for beating that nutcase Richard Mourdock to become the first ever Notre Dame alum in the Senate. I did some work on his House campaign in 2010 when I was ND College Democrats president. He's a truly decent human being, which is saying a lot when talking about Congress. pinkstones
Todd Akin was defeated as well, so that's 0-2 on the "Rape" agenda for the GOP.
pinkstones
BTW, we elected our first disabled Senator, our first openly gay Senator, and our first Asian Senator, and there are 20 women now in the Senate proper. The GOP can take their regressive policies and shove it.
TheLizard
It will be interesting to see if the Republican Party takes this election as a reality check and decide to work with the President or if they just double down on obstructionism. Unfortunately, I'd bet on the latter.
pinkstones
GUARANTEE the spin coming out of this is that Romney wasn't conservative enough, and they're going to tack even further to the right. Watch for Rick Santorum to get the nod in 2016.
Rayzor
The Conservative movement will be to bring back slavery across the US, capital punishment for being gay, having an abortion or having any religious beliefs other than a Christian one. Women will be forced out of the workplace (or working at 25% of minimum wage). This sounds like a good platform...

Lucky
Happy about Obama .... but downright giddy about Todd. I've hated this guy since he began in local politics ten years ago. Todd Akin was defeated as well, so that's 0-2 on the "Rape" agenda for the GOP. Way to go MO, and Congrats to Claire! :happybanana: :partytime1: :partytime2:

phil
Total domination from The Dems. Great ground game and stategy. Special thanks to The "Rape" twins for sending Millions of Women to the Dem's side. One more thing, Karl Rove, please go away.
Mike
Well, that was fairly predictable. I know this much, the last four years I've watch my company stock value double, my profit sharing go through the roof. The next four years it should get even better, I may retire early! Thanks Obama!!
