Rayzor
Listening to a few tunes from Tijuana Sweetheart's new album "Under The Gun" on their homepage. http://www.tijuanasweetheart.com/music.html The title track in particular sounds wicked Can't wait for this album to make its way to Canada, as it's an independent release, it'll be awhile. For those who like punk-metal power chords and 4 chix singing gender neutral tunes to a backbeat that frightens Satan, this band (and from what I've heard, this album) is for you. 8/10 for half the album I've heard. Rayzor
Yup! And if yer brothers lay a finger on 'em they'll bust their skulls... I wonder why they chose the punk-metal genre over teeny-pop?

TheLizard
Possibly the most emotional band of all time even though I can't understand a word they're saying. I can't wait!

RockyRaccoon
Absolutely. It's probably their most "accessible" album. At least, as accessible as The Mars Volta can be.
TheLizard
More accessible than Octahedron, even? Because that one was weirdly normal for them.
RockyRaccoon
I would say closer to a happy marriage between the accessibility of Octahedron and the typical Mars Volta sound.

TheLizard
New Rush single awwwwwwww yeeeeeeaaaaaaah: http://www1.rollingstone.com/hearitnow/player/rush.html Also, the new Punch Brothers album is fantastic, as expected. Easily the most all-around talented band playing right now. And they cover Radiohead! They're bluegrass, for those who don't know. So yeah, that's pretty weird and awesome. RockyRaccoon
New John Mayer album is quite good. Very much like John Mayer meets Neil Young. I liked it. Newest Andrew Bird album is very good as well, exactly what you'd expect from him.
