Carl
The Dead Milkmen filled my childhood with big, goofy fun. I remember being very excited when the Detroit Tigers called up a second baseman named Jim Walewander, who talked about The Dead Milkmen every chance he got. Liking the Milkmen meant you had things in perspective. You might not fit in, but you probably don't care to. Bonding with friends over "Punk Rock Girl" and "Taking Retards To the Zoo," being a DMM fan put me in a little club that just felt right. What are they up to now? Turns out they're back together, making festival appearances here and there. How they reformed is quite a story - a kid who sang on one of their songs in 6th grade grew up to be a music promoter and got them back together. We found him, and one of the Milkmen. Here's the story: How the Dead Milkmen Came Back to Life
