Farin 2 Posted October 4, 2011 Report Share Posted October 4, 2011 Simon Wolstencroft left the band "English Rose" after only one year... later they became The Stone Roses And a year later he left the band "Freaky Party", allegedly because he didn't care for the new singer's voice... that guy was Stephen Patrick Morrissey and the band soon changed their name to The Smiths (at least he later was a member for The Fall for 10 years ) Dick Taylor left The Rolling Stones in 1962 to found the Pretty Things Vince Clarke left Depeche Mode after their first album Link to post Share on other sites

Him and Andy Bell are pretty far from obscure. In fact, they're currently touring "Tin Tin" Duffy was in Duran Duran before they made it big.
