andy7 Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 AHA!! Guns and Roses only available as bonus track! Correct!
Rayzor Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 I knew I was on the right track... didn't see the song on her album Now I know why Stewart Copeland Thomas Lang Brann Dailor Chad Smith Nicko McBrian
MindCrime Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 I think I know the category in question, but not sure of which is the odd man out
Rayzor Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 You're probably right about the category. The difference is hard to see on the surface
andy7 Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 Wow Rayzor, that's a really difficult one! I've tried a few things but none of them fit. This guess is probably wrong, but I'll give it a go! --- Stewart Copeland plays reggae and the rest don't?
Rayzor Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 It's kinda easier than that... (I think). Chad Smith plays every genre known to man. So Copeland isn't the only one to dabble outside of rock. I had a peek & it's easy to find the difference on Wiki. (I used a different source for the list, but same result)
Rayzor Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 Here's a hint: Copeland isn't the odd man out
Rayzor Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 You seem to be digging too deep. It's subtle, but the difference is there. (I found it in Drum Magazine, then saw Wiki has the difference as well)
Rayzor Posted August 6, 2014 Report Posted August 6, 2014 No more guesses? I'll give it another day...
Rayzor Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Here's a helluva hint! If nobody can figure out who & for what reason then I'll just have to give it away. Hint: "Singin' in the rain..." (btw: none of these performers played that particular song. To my knowledge, anyway)
andy7 Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 I literally have no idea! And I thought that my selections were difficult!
Rayzor Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 Here it is: Brann Dailor. He not only plays drums, but also sings lead vocals I thought it was easy, but I guess I was wrong Anyone have a new oddball? Go ahead! I'm fresh out at the moment.
andy7 Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 Wow...... how did I not spot that?! --- Huffington Post Waterford Whispers News New York Times Yahoo! News The Irish Times
Rayzor Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 Waterford Whispers? It's the only fake news on the list...
andy7 Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 Waterford Whispers? It's the only fake news on the list... That was quick! WWN is a news satire website.
Rayzor Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 Yeah, I'm awesome at this Jimi Hendrix Experience Led Zeppelin Behemoth The James Gang Led Zeppelin King Crimson
andy7 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Yeah, I'm awesome at this Jimi Hendrix Experience Led Zeppelin Behemoth The James Gang Led Zeppelin King Crimson Led Zeppelin is the only band on your list twice?!
Rayzor Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 oops! Jimi Hendrix Experience Led Zeppelin Behemoth Wolfmother The James Gang King Crimson Is that better?
Zabadak Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I think we can assume that Wolfmother is not the odd one out...
andy7 Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 oops! Jimi Hendrix Experience Led Zeppelin Behemoth Wolfmother The James Gang King Crimson Is that better? Yes! Now.... let's see if I can figure this one out!
Rayzor Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 I think we can assume that Wolfmother is not the odd one out... Or perhaps they are and I put Led Zep a 2nd time without realising...
andy7 Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 Led Zeppelin is the only 4-piece band on the list?
