Shawna
Crikey. Of the nominations for Best Picture, I've seen one - Social Network. I did, however, read the book "Winter's Bone" and it was a great read. Looks like I've got some movie watching to do.

MindCrime
When will Christopher Nolan get some love from the Academy? It's absolutely ridiculous, I would go as far as to call him the best director of the past decade with the amount of great films he's directed. _____ I've only seen Inception, Social Network, The Town, and part of Toy Story 3 on this list. I will have to view a few more of the major nominees before deciding.
miamisammy29
The only one I've seen was "Inception". That's why I didn't vote for it.

RockyRaccoon
Absolutely. No doubt in my mind. Agreed. I have not seen a bad Christopher Nolan movie. The worst of his I think was Batman Begins, and I still don't think that was that bad of a movie.

MindCrime
I think the way they presented the nominees for best picture was really bland, they didn't include a photo or anything. Just a typed in name on a white background. The Academy Awards must be on a budget.

Lucky
Yeah, very lucky. I've seen exactly 1 of the films (True Grit, and you see how many votes I gave it ). Those were all total guesses, based on what I was reading/hearing. Except, I thought Randy Newman was a shoe-in just because he's Randy Newman. Then I found out how many times he's been nominated and not won. Anyway, thanks! I can use a new shirt.
