So it's kind of second-hand Dalai Lama interviewing. If we headlined this post "Dan Reed," would you remember him from his band The Dan Reed Network and Top 40 hit "Ritual"? They toured with the Rolling Stones and were drawing comparisons to Living Colour and Lenny Kravitz, but they never reached the top shelf. This is all pretty interesting, but when I found out that Dan wrote to the Dalai Lama then traveled to India (did you know he lives in India) to interview him for Spin Magazine, I had to find out more. What is the Dalai Lama like? What is the meaning of life? How do you reconcile the Rock Star hedonism with enlightenment? Fortunately, Dan engaged and gave thorough and compelling answers to these questions.
