MindCrime
If this is the person who sang Lovergirl, I somewhat remember her. Very sad, R.I.P.
Carl
"Lovergirl" was her big hit, and it's a good one. She was signed to Motown Records, where Rick James taught her how to write and produce. She had a spat with Motown and signed with Epic, which is where she released "Lovergirl." pinkstones
She was also reportedly one of the few artists Don Cornelius let sing live on Soul Train, since live she was better than on the albums.
