MindCrime
I just had a thought... isn't this week Halloween? I might have to change my nominations in that case I'll have to swap my Van Halen nom for Monster Mash - Bobby Boris Pickett & the Crypt-kickers (1962)

Steel2Velvet
Thanks Lars. And thanks for Youtubing them ! I like your video of Veronica better. It was written for his Grandmother, I've heard. It's been so long I've forgotten how to post from YouTube. The mind is the last part to go. Nice to see you back, Fitty!! Farin
I'll have to swap my Van Halen nom for Monster Mash - Bobby Boris Pickett & the Crypt-kickers (1962) I'll take that as a 'yes' to my non-rhetorical question normally I don't ever plan nominations ahead, but for this one I always make an exception, not because I'm a halloween fan, but because it would be weird to nominate them at any other time of the year so I'd like to change my nominations to: Re: Your Brains ~ Jonathan Coulton (2006) youtube Heya Tom, it's Bob, From the office down the hall. Good to see you buddy, How've ya been? Things have been okay for me, Except that I'm a zombie now. Really wish you'd let us in. I think I speak for all of us when I say I understand Why you folks might hesitate to submit to our demands, But here's an FYI - you're all gonna die, screaming. Bloodletting (The Vampire Song) ~ Concrete Blonde (1990) youtube I got the ways and means to New Orleans I'm going down by the river where it's warm and green I'm gonna have a drink, and walk around I got a lot to think about oh yeah oh yeah
pinkstones
I have to plan out my nominations ahead of time or else I'd forget what I was planning to nominate in the first place. If I hear a song or get an idea, I write it down, then check to see if it's made it before. If not, I pencil it in for the upcoming week or weeks, depending on what day it is. bazooka
1. Candy Man - Roy Orbison [smaller] . . Probably Roy's most upbeat number. Always enjoyed the je ne sais quoi of how this song fits together.[/smaller] 2. Rock Steady - Aretha Franklin [smaller] . . What it is, What it is, What it is. Dig the horns.[/smaller] 3. God Gave Rock 'n' Roll To You - Argent 4. Only You Know And I Know - Delaney and Bonnie & Friends 5. Mama Said - The Shirelles 6. Sunlight - The Youngbloods 7. You Can Leave Your Hat On - Joe Cocker [smaller] . . Still like Randy Newman's original better, but J C can do no wrong in bazooka's book. [/smaller] 8. St James Infirmary - Allen Toussaint 9. I've Been Lonely Too Long - The Rascals 10. Fantasy - Earth, Wind, and Fire
