Ahh Shannon you know I'm just playin' with you ;) I think most of us know way to many "should be" country artists will be omitted for the simple fact there isn't enough people playing :(

I personally love both Hanks and Sr. most of all. I grew with him. I bet no one nominates Bobby Bear, Hoyt Axton, or Sawyer Brown either. All awesome CW artists. I could name a hundred more as I'm sure could you.

I personally think we need to do more CW specials there is so many awesome CW artists that just won't show up here. To sad :(

Coincidental that you chose that song because I've always loved it and almost nominated it before Jim Reeves.

"Hear that lonesome whippoorwill

He sounds too blue to fly

The midnight train is whining low

I'm so lonesome I could cry"

I think I have a fairly good understanding of how Hank might've felt when he wrote that song.

Excellent choice, Lucky.

"He Stopped Loving Her Today" - George Jones

"This Troubled Mind Of Mine" - Arlo Guthrie

Hope it works for you and you can listen to this link. In case you can't I'll nominate another one...

Please, sorry for the mess but I'd like to change my nom again.

This is my definitive choice:

"Oh, Lonesome Me" - The Walkers

"He Stopped Loving Her Today" - George Jones
