Carl
This Day in Song History is now the Music History Calendar. This was quite an accomplishment. In 2007, Songfactors started entering music history events into the board calendar for 2010. When that year rolled around, we had thousands of events loaded, which Zhivko the wonder-coder transferred into the very cool calendar interface on its own domain. You can still add events to this calendar - just log in on the upper right using your ID/pass from here, and click "add event." A really cool feature here is Widgets, which you can put on any site/blog, etc. to display the "Event of the Day," which we use on the Songfacts home page. Thanks to everyone who contributed - 2010 seemed pretty far away when we started: http://calendar.songfacts.com/

Bagock
Hi All, I love the calendar you have. Just curious if you've through about making an ical subscription? It would be fantastic to have this info right in my calendar.
snaredrum
How can we add or correct entries to the Calendar? - October 3 was Stevie Ray Vaughan's birthday, but it's not on the calendar (or it's on the wrong day somewhere else). - October 4 is not Helen Reddy's birthday, it's October 25th. Not complaining, but Stevie's was loud by it's absence, and Helen's I tripped over while checking on something for Breast Cancer Month. Thanks! I use the Calendar EVERY day!
