Earth-Angel
The rules: Don't take too long to think about this! You only have fifteen minutes to list fifteen albums you've heard that will always stick with you. Mention any Songfactors that are relevant to any of the albums (if they introduced you to them or to the band's music in general, or even if they just remind you of them). Also, mention any albums you only found out of because of Songfacts This should be interesting as this was a Note that was passed around on Facebook lately... So here are my fifteen songs to get the ball rolling (and my accompanying comments). 1. Fantasies - Metric 2. Play - Moby 3. Dookie - Green Day 4. Ava Adore - Smashing Pumpkins 5. Frogstomp - Silverchair 6. Around the fur - Deftones 7. Hagnesta Hill (English version) - Kent 8. Make yourself - Incubus 9. Röyksopp's night out - Röyksopp 10. Absolution - Muse 11. Riot on an empty street - Kings of convenience 12. Origin of symmetry - Muse 13. Mechanical animals - Marilyn Manson 14. Music for the jilted generation - Prodigy 15. Black cherry - Goldfrapp So, not in any order whatsoever, just as they popped into my head as I thought about different memories And yes, there are 2 Muse albums in there. Pity there wasn't room for more! I tend to associate one song with someone or something more than an entire album (usually, even some of the best albums have a song or two that tends to be a bit naff in comparison to the rest of the tracks...) I didn't put in any oldies because right now, I can only think of songs I like rather than think of entire albums that make tha grade overall. I don't believe there is anything there pre 1990, maybe even later! But I know there are friends I have tagged who will scold me severely for this and be able to add something which I never thought of but do really like (you know who you are )
MindCrime
Do greatest hits compilations count as well? These albums are the ones I've listened to the most in the duration of my life, some not as much anymore. It was hard narrowing down the list to just 15. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Into the Great Wide Open (my all time favorite from it's initial release til today) U2 - Achtung Baby Pink - Missundaztood Alice in Chains - Facelift Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime Metallica - Ride the Lightning Led Zeppelin - Boxed Set Pink Floyd - The Wall Queen - Greatest Hits Rancid - And Out Come the Wolves Megadeth - Youthanasia Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik Bush - 16 Stone The Doors - Best of Outkast - Speakerboxxx / Love Below (had to include one rap album and this is my favorite artist of the genre)

Shawna
And I know Greatest Hits albums don't really count, they don't? I have two on my list... I thought it was just a list of the albums that frame your life (to now) sort of thing... and if it's a Greatest Hits, then so be it. Dammit.
