You guys are all so sweet to think of me and wait for me prior to voting. I put my little sweetie on the bus to school, worked out at the gym, and now I'm back! I lost the list of albums I wanted to nominate when I emptied my desk and there are so many good ones already chosen, but I'll try:

Cyndi Lauper - She's So Unusual (1983)

This album launched her into the stratosphere with "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", but it also spawned the hits "Time After Time" "She Bop" and "Money Changes Everything" and "All Through The Night". Her unusual voice and look influenced a generation of girls to be themselves.

Uh Huh - John Cougar Mellencamp (1983)

One of my favorite albums. John had already had hits as "John Cougar", but this was the first album in which he used his birth name and became a big star. The first three tracks rank among my favorite JCM songs of all time

Crumblin' Down

Pink Houses

Authority Song

Warmer Place to Sleep

Jackie O

Play Guitar

Serious Business

Lovin' mother for ya

Golden Gates

Hey Ace, Welcome to Songfacts :)

take a look around this thread and you'll notice that both of your choices have already been nominated - which is a good thing because that means you can choose two new ones

And I second that .... please, join us & throw out a couple more great 80's albums.

Why should Kenne have to change his nomination? He came up with it first.

Edit that guy's post so that his nominations aren't there anymore since someone else go to them already.

Kenne doesn't have to, but he can, if he wants to... just like you or anyone else can change their own nominations if they want to :)
