North Korean football team shamed in six-hour public inquiry over World Cup

Recommended Posts

With some exceptions (as those you mentioned), I'm more keen on the idea(l) that the US govt. foreign policy should be neutral and, perhaps, isolationist. I mean, it's a Sysiphean task to spread democracy around the world. Hell, if the govt.'s new vision is to "right wrongs," then what better way than to do it here - among its own citizens and residents (include the illegals for the hell of it)? Anyway, I originally replied to phil's "not even the same ballpark." I thought my post was contextually well placed because it doesn't seem too far-fetched that the US govt. would support a crazy dictator, such as North Korea's Kim Jong-Il, considering the sorts of things we all know now to have transpired (and in some instances while the President, the cabinet, and Congress had the luxury of hindsight).
