_Laurie_ Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Hi Pagene...I googled and only found something similar, but not exact lyrics that you posted... Judy Garland... Bumpy Road To Love We'll go bumpty-bumpty bumpty-bump on the bumpy road to love We'll never need a silver lining for we'll never ever have a cloud
Pagene Posted August 2, 2010 Author Report Posted August 2, 2010 Thanks Laurie I had found that one. But that's not it. Thank you for trying to help out thought!
Spanky Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 It's from one of those semi-educatinal animations from the seventies - about geology. There was a boy on a bicycle, and a talking rock, and they went underground. I'll going to ask on imdb.com 'cos I want to know what it was.
skybluesky Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 Nope, there's no SHR like that.
Spanky Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 A guy on imdb says it was called "Dig" (1972) The rock was called Rocko.
Pagene Posted September 28, 2010 Author Report Posted September 28, 2010 Thats it!! I almost sure of it...oh whoa I didn't think anyone could find it! My family thinks that I am crazy Thanks so much spanky

No Fear Of Change Posted July 30, 2019 Report Posted July 30, 2019 (edited) This may be a long forgotten post, but this update is for anyone who finds it. It's called "DIG a journey into the earth" from 1972. The music is by Quincy Jones. Created by John and Faith Hubley. I too thought it was from "The Point," but I watched that this week and it was missing or so I thought. Both stories are about a boy and his dog. Not "A Boy and His Dog" by Harlan Ellison. (I miss you Harlan.) I see that the links above no longer work, so here's a new YouTube link to the short. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HbT1zXhRbk I hope this helps someone, either the OP or someone doing a search for "Midnight Ride Down A Rock Bottom Road." -No Fear Of Change- Edited July 30, 2019 by No Fear Of Change spelling only
