JumboXL
Last week I had so much fun listening to a band I discovered: Me First and The Gimme Gimmes. I love their punk versions of Middle of The Road songs. These guys are active for over a dozen of years, and I never heard of them, over here in Europe. So what else did I miss? I know The Austin Lounge Lizards. I have the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, the Rutles, and Monty Python Sings albums. I also am familiar with Weird Al Yankovic, I do not think he's very funny. Any other suggestions for really humourous bands?

bluesboy
I saw the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo play at the Whiskey during the mid '70s. I guess you would call them vaudevillian. They changed their style to more New Wave in 1980. Some of Frank Zappa's lyrics are quite humorous .
