MindCrime
Take the "farry cross" and see which songs just missed out Find out which one Good overall list, I predicted the #1 song correctly and it's nice to see Dio make it in for the first time the same week he passed on. R.I.P.

Video Killed the Radio Star - The Buggles (1979) Not to knock number one, but I wish Gladys could have made it to that spot, because all three versions would have been number one in the ten that way, but it's still a nice ten
Farin
of my two nominations, VAST did better than expected, while Lawrence Arabia did... well, not worse, but not as good as I thought... I guess I expected there to be more Pop music fans than Alternative-Industrial-Electro-Rock-with-disturbing-lyrics fans
_Laurie_
I could of voted Radio Song higher....but I liked "Heard It Through The Grapevine Better"...
pinkstones
Not 100% in love with the final 10 this week -- I am happy though to see Dio and Swing Out Sister make it. That song was always a guilty pleasure of mine.

Lucky
I got a number 1! Good lord, it's been ages since one of my noms made #1. Hooray! Of course I guess the song deserves some credit, huh? Not an exciting ten, but some good songs. I'm glad Dionne made it in.

I guess I expected there to be more Pop music fans than Alternative-Industrial-Electro-Rock-with-disturbing-lyrics fans I liked that Vast song and it did well on my list for a song I wasn't that familiar with beforehand. This song and video are disturbing though as it seems to be pro-rape and fem-abuse. As for the other song, the video completely killed it for me. I could've done without the old man bits and bobs jingling around

This song and video are disturbing though as it seems to be pro-rape and fem-abuse. I think it's equally as 'pro-rape' and 'fem-abuse' as Nirvana's "Rape Me" or Toadies' "Possum Kingdom" is... I take it as the view on the thoughts of a criminal As for the other song, the video completely killed it for me. I could've done without the old man bits and bobs jingling around at first I wanted to reply "But it's art! ", but I can't even write that with keeping a straight face anyway, besides the video, I personally still think it's a cool song

I take it as the view on the thoughts of a criminal Also STP's Sex Type Thing After reviewing the video, it just seems to be something that he's fantasizing about while driving. The only part of the video that ever actually took place is where he's driving at the beginning and the last 5 seconds of the video. The whole part with the woods and cabin were just a nightmarish dream sequence.
Farin
^ yes, that's what I think too I think it's equally as 'pro-rape' and 'fem-abuse' as Nirvana's "Rape Me" or Toadies' "Possum Kingdom" is... I take it as the view on the thoughts of a criminal EDIT: of course not "Rape Me", but "Polly" is the song I meant...
