_Laurie_
Oh I agree S2V....a fine list of songs by some classic singer/songwriters!.....Karma this list is absolutely you!....you are one awesome lady..
MindCrime
A real interesting nail-biter at the top 2 positions instead of the unexciting sweep, well done. This is an eccentric and classic list. A shame that I'm the only one who voted for Jimmy Buffet's version of Southern Cross, I had that one pinned to my PT10. I guess not anymore, but maybe I could replace it with the CSN original.
karma
Tks Laurs, I think you are pretty awesome too if you want to know the truth. Glad you enjoyed my list. MC, not to worry I will vote for any version of that song. They can't all win I guess.

Lucky
This is an eccentric and classic list. That's our karma! Karma, I had a blast listening and your final ten is amazing .... Thank you. Oh and the Sylvia song? I hadn't heard it in years, and it's now been an earworm that I can't shake for the past few days.

phil
Any list with George Jones in it makes you way cool. Plus, Tangled Up In Blue is such a great song.
pinkstones
The only thing I would have changed about your list is separate entries for Mr. Tambourine Man. I actually prefer Dylan's version to The Byrds. Other than that, great list.
skybluesky
Comma chameleon My gosh you are a nerd I was happy to see Don't Stop Believin' squeak in at 10. And I am jealous you got Sister Golden Hair in your ten.

karma
Yes, my dear Edna, I do think that you mentioned that I rock at some point And Lucky, isn't that a neat song to be running in your head. She just seemed to drift away like a whiff of smoke and I thought she was so talented.
karma
Good Grief, I am going to have to reply to my own reply: Tks for correcting that Farin. I suppose that I would love that song by anyone who done it Phil, I have always liked George Jones and that particular song. I am half-way country music junkie along with every thing else Pinkstones, I put that particular version on MY ptt for the surprise effect of Dylan coming in on it. Dylan is the artist I would like to put in my closet so he could sing to me and no one else. I absolutely adore his music. Vienne, tks for the comment and I am so pleased that you enjoyed my list. Gosh, now you know all my secrets
