Steel2Velvet
If you plan to play "Top Ten" with Laurie, while she at Grandma's, you have about 30 more hours before the folks pack everything back into the car and close out the visit. Thank you, Laurie... Edna, here is your prediction from the PTT thread, dated 1/30/20: I can't wait to see Laurie's list... Some Badfinger, some Neil Young... and then a couple of other songs till it makes 50... You certainly know Laurie!
Steel2Velvet
Nooooo!! I didn't get to vote. I'll express my frustration through emoticons. Technically, you did get to vote, Rocky. Opportunities probably just slid by, one after the other, until the deadline was past. Being a college student, I doubt Friday early evenings that your mind trips over Songfacts - oh, the shame! Again for everyone: From the original post of how this thing would go down (I changed the Monday to Sunday in order to give everyone an additional weekend day to listen to lists): .. Every Monday hereafter we will have a new member's 50 songs to pour over and begin selections through 10 P.M. EST Friday night. .. I find it difficult to work much past 10 EST Friday (that is 1 A.M. Saturday here) because after the work week, I get very tired by that time, on that day. Don't forget I am an old man. (Gee I love that excuse ... it works!)
