MindCrime
"Etude Op. 10 No. 3 in E Major (Tristesse)" - Frederic Chopin (1832) This must be the oldest (or one of) nominations ever. I thought about doing Fur Elise sometime which is originally dated 22 years prior.
skybluesky
Skinny Love - Bon Iver I'm glad you nominated this. I've been meaning to check out Bon Iver and I keep forgetting to.
MindCrime
Empire State of Mind - Jay-Z f/ Alicia Keys (2009) ~~ Not a fan of rap or hip-hop by any means, but this song is absolutely amazing. I think I've nominated this one before, either that or Peaches has but it deserves to make it this time. I've been called an honorary New Yorker and to me, this is my soundtrack. It almost made my PTT as the representative of 2010, along with 2 other duets featuring Jay-Z. I had to remove it to make room though.
edna
"Etude Op. 10 No. 3 in E Major (Tristesse)" - Frederic Chopin (1832) "In all my life I have never again been able to find such a beautiful melody." - Chopin That's funny, BlueAngel... I have "Tristesse" in my iPod since a week ago or so... I suddenly remembered that tune and wanted to listen to it... I even posted it on Facebook... Of course, I'll be voting for it, it's among my own Top ten right now

MindCrime
Speaking of that... the SFC-T10 4th birthday is coming up later this month. I would've thought that 208 being 52 x 4, would've been the 4 year anniversary, but apparently the first one was towards the end of March, 2006. Lucky
Yes, late March is the anniversary. Shall we do something special? Any ideas? We could make it a no artist previously in the Ten week. New blood, and all that ...
