All members of Songfacts are most welcome to vote and help create next week's Top 40. Don't be shy. It may look a little complicated, but it's not really. You don't have to be an 'oldie' - just someone who appreciates this kind of music.

* U.S. Charted Pop AND R&B Singles of the 1950s+ era, but not after 1963.

* No Album Only Tracks or Uncharted B Sides.

* U.S. Chart Links may be found for on Songfacts' Main Index page, where there are alphabetical links to many songs, either by Title or Artist. If your songs aren't there, you could use Google/Wikipedia - or PT Cyberjudge if in doubt.

Hello and welcome to the final regular edition of Golden Oldies Top 40. I’m your host DJ Ceejay, and this week, we’ll be counting down the greatest oldies hits as voted on songfacts.com.

Last week, the Dave Brubeck Quartet took over the #1 spot with Take Five. Will this week see a retake? Or will it be taken down by a new #1?

5 songs drop out of the countdown this week: All the Way by Frank Sinatra, Puff the Magic Dragon by Peter Paul & Mary,Stagger Lee by Lloyd Price, The Chipmunk Song by the Chipmunks, and I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus by Jimmy Boyd.

5 new songs reach the chart in its final week:

Sheila by Tommy Roe debuts at #38.

I Ain’t Superstitious by Howling Wolf howls in at #37.

Driving Wheel by Junior Parker makes a pit stop at #35.

The Everly Brothers, a regular on many of our charts, say farewell with Bye Bye Love at #34.

And the Rooftop Singers walk right in to our chart with the highest debut at #33, Walk Right In.
