I'd just like to point out that it's an absolute sin that Duncan Jones and Sam Rockwell weren't nominated for Moon. Best movie of the year. If you haven't seen it, move it to the top of your Netflix queue, now. 500 Days of Summer is another good one that got snubbed, but not including Moon is criminal.

I can't stand him. The look of anger on his face when Kathryn Bigelow won both best director and best picture was extremely gratifying. I will admit Avatar was a pretty cool experience, but I have seen five of the ten nominees and I'd rank it at the bottom of the five. The Hurt Locker is currently sitting on my desk waiting to be watched, I guess I should get to that.

I have only seen 2 of the 10 best picture nominees (Up and District 9), but I would like to see Precious, Inglorious Basterds and now, The Hurt Locker as well. Avatar does not interest me in the least. When I said that at the lunch table, I got looks like I grew another head, but hey, different strokes for different folks.
