MuzikTyme
Are there rules to listing a personal top ten? I ask just to be sure because the last personal top ten thread that I offered my personal top ten favourite songs was met with ridicule and sarcasm. Hopefully, this thread is different because I'm here to share music, not to figure out rules.
karma
you pick top ten from ryangirls list only, not your songs. you are picking from her ptt of 50 songs. Hope this helps.

blind-fitter
Are there rules to listing a personal top ten? I ask just to be sure because the last personal top ten thread that I offered my personal top ten favourite songs was met with ridicule and sarcasm. No, it wasn't. It was met by somebody trying to be helpful, by explaining, in a friendly and polite way, how the Personal Top Tens thing works. There was not a hint of rudeness, ridicule or sarcasm, as anyone who was there can testify.
miamisammy29
The Blind Dude is right, MT. No ridicule was intended. Also, no ridicule was intended with the Antarctica thing either (until later on in the conversation, obviously). And I do apologize for myself and my slightly overzealous friends. But... what I think Mr. Tyme meant was: Are there any rules when developing YOUR OWN ten to be voted upon? There are no rules, per se....just pick 50 songs you like (or don't like; it doesn't really matter), and keep it ready for when the Evil Moderator calls on YOU! Then submit it to him or her, and lie back and watch history take its own course.
Lea
Are there rules to listing a personal top ten? I ask just to be sure because the last personal top ten thread that I offered my personal top ten favourite songs was met with ridicule and sarcasm. Hopefully, this thread is different because I'm here to share music, not to figure out rules. This is from the first time we did the PPT's. The same rules apply this time. Hola SF folks, We've been given a brilliant idea. Perhaps the name of this thread is a clue as to what this idea is. If not, here are the details: Personal Top Tens will be based on a list of songs submitted by one regular SFer. This list can be compiled by the SFer on their own or the TTT (Top Ten Team) can pick out their last fifty unique nominations in the regular tens. Then the rest of us put the songs to a vote and at the end of it what do we have? [hint: title of thread] Brilliant idea, no? You can thank S2V for bringing it up Now then - who all are willing to take part? We'll make a list and randomly draw one person's name each time. By 'randomly' I do mean randomly - making use of a table of random numbers etc. I didn't do statistics in college for nothing. Take the Personal Tens as a kind of Special Top Ten. I say we alternate between the two. Suggestions to improve the concept are welcome. Who's in? All you have to do really Muzik is compile a list of your favorite 50 songs and when it's your turn S2V will pt you and you will send your list to him. Your chosen randomly As each list of 50 songs is posted the rest of use choose 10 of our favorites from your list of 50. You don't vote on your own list just everyone elses. It's similar to the TT except you get to supply the list that is being voted on. Each persons list is up for a week and then S2V will post the ten songs that got the most votes from us Shannon's list was first this time and her 50 songs are posted at the beginning of this thread. Just pick your favorite 10 songs from her 50 and post them here. Most of us are putting our songs on a playlist so it is more user friendly. You should play, I'm sure you'd enjoy it
