Jk
Does anyone remember the 1982 Paul McCartney "Tug Of War" album? I find its cover interesting. I heard somewhere that the picture was a family photo taken when he was 15 years old, but the credits say that the photography was by his wife, Linda. Since she didn't know him when he was 15, is the photo really taken when he was 40, like I heard somewhere else? I've done some internet searches on it, but nothing really comes up. Shawna
he certainly looks older than 15 in that photo.
bluesboy
Your right, not much comes up... "The album cover was designed by Hipgnosis and Sinc., with photography by Linda, and artwork by Brian Clarke" source
RockyRaccoon
I have the album. I like it a lot. I always love "Ebony & Ivory" and there's always one of my favorite McCartney tunes, "Here Today."
Jk
Come to think of it, it would have to be more recent- because he's wearing his wedding ring. Some website, I don't remember which one, was saying that it was taken the same time as the "Chaos And Creation" album cover photo, and I noticed some similarities. That obviously must be wrong. Plus, the headphones look too modern than what they'd have in the fifties.Odd how it's practically a google-whack when you search about it.
