Lea
I'm so sorry everyone, and Lucky in particular... I was supposed to go back to uni yesterday morning, just a matter of hours, but thanks to the crazy weather here right now airports were closed, flights and trains got cancelled, and I spent the past 24 hours on a mad odyssey around the British Isles, including spending the night and trying to sleep at a Glasgow bus station I just got in the door five minutes ago. Poor Fin. I hope your safe and warm now. Everybody knows you wouldn't just bale on us and something was going on. But having to sleep in a bus station ? brrrrr bummer

blind-fitter
Apart from my own two nominations, there are only two other songs I like much: The Decemberists' "The Crane Wife" and, to a lesser extent, the Modest Mouse one. With only 4 songs to vote for - which must be some kind of a record- I think I might just as well give voting a miss this week. P.S. Forgot: I enjoyed The Plasticines one as well, though I suspect it's hardly an "enduring classic". Still way short of finding another five, though. blind-fitter
I actually didn't mind this week's nominations I didn't mind them. There was nothing I hold in utter contempt. Oh, hang on I tell a lie. There was one. I think it's more that I'm just not in the right mood, and it'll take something pretty special to bring me round, y'know? I just listened to what I could- some links weren't working- and found myself, for the most part, numb with disinterest.
