_Laurie_
Shawna, I submit for your approval "Training Day" as your other nominee. You pretty much can't go wrong with Denzel. He won the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Alonzo Harris, a bad @$$ dirty cop breaking in a rookie (Ethan Hawke) on the streets of LA. Very violent and gritty, but an awesome movie. Absolutely! Shawna
Okay sold. 1. Silence of the Lambs (stolen from MC, who voluntarily gave it to me, so I suppose the stealing part was easier than expected) 2. Training Day Now, if either of these places, I get all the glory. Just remember that.

Steel2Velvet
Just curious. For one to "master" the flying guillotine, wouldn't one ostensibly start out as a stumble-bum amatuer with the flying guillotine? Now, THAT part of the process would be a movie I would pay to see. If the violence is more action oriented like in Die Hard or is presented in the context of "black comedy" I enjoy it much more.
