1. Teen Angst (What The World Needs Now) - Cracker ("What the world needs now is another folk singer, like I need a hole in my head." Truer words have never been spoken.)

2. Too Much Passion - Smithereens (One of their slower ones, but really cool when done live.)

3. Ride My See-Saw - Moody Blues (Blistering guitar in this one.)

4. The Middle - Jimmy Eat World (The first anti-semitic band to not totally shave their heads.)

5. Runnin' With The Devil - Van Halen (Surprising how this one isn't the Top Ten already.)

6. Journey To The Center of the Mind - Amboy Dukes (Kill 'em and grill 'em, Ted!)

7. Is She Really Going Out With Him - Joe Jackson (Blood-draining earworm from my junior high school days.)

8. You Can Stay But The Noise Must Go - Johnny "Guitar" Watson (How can you not like a dude whose Mama named him "Guitar"?)

9. Somebody's Knockin' - Terri Gibbs (Another junior high earwig...similar to that thing that came out of Khan's ear in Star Trek II.)

10. Devil Inside - INXS (I haven't been able to prove it as of yet, but there is reason to believe that the Farriss Brothers are the Jonas Brothers' evil triplets.)

Honorable Mention: Johnny Cash, Johnny Denver, Johnnie's Chicken Shack

Juuuust missed out:

Teen Angst (What The World Needs Now) - Cracker

Journey To The Center Of The Mind - Amboy Dukes

Venus In Furs - The Velvet Underground & Nico

First time I've heard the Cracker one. Enjoyed it.

Mrs Fitter went to university in New Model Army's home-town of Bradford. Quite often, on a Sunday evening, we used to frequent a pub called the Westleigh, to take part in a Pub Quiz Night: our "opponents" would often include NMA's drummer (Rob?). I heard recently that he died, the poor fella. Cancer. :( Always seemed a nice bloke.

Thanks for that everybody
