David Bowie's 'Space Oddity' sees 40th Anniversary release Written by Dom Smith

David Bowie's 1969 album 'Space Oddity' is to be re-released on October 12, complete with a host of previously unreleased tunes. It's been remastered for the new release. There's some unreleased tracks includes demos, radio sessions and alternate versions of album songs. This special 40th anniversary edition is to be released digitally, on CD and on 180 gram vinyl.

I had the album decades ago and I loved/love it... :) A friend of mine stole it from me. She's still one of my best friends :cool:

I love "Cygnett Comittee" (sp?)... I love the other songs too but Cygnett is a must in my soundtrack.

It would be a good Christmas present... :cool:

I love bowie in general :bow:

My dad has almost his entire discography on vinyl and I listen to it frequently :rockon:

The opening song on mom and dad's wedding was from Bowie too.

(at least that's what they told me, I wasn't there yet :P )
