cyberjudge
Actually that would make it less likely for new songs to get in since 10 songs per person would be voted up (a total of +30) compared to 5 voted down (only -15). It would be unlikely for any song to lose enough support to allow any new ones to sneak in. You would be better off with 10 NEW noms per person, 2 +5's, etc., according to your formula. This way, we can nominate our own favs as well as support others' noms!

MindCrime
How about 1 +4, 2 +3, 3 +2, and 4 +1, this would be a total of 20 instead of 30. I'm only kidding, and trying to further complicate Laurie's head

OLD 55
Actually that would make it less likely for new songs to get in..... That was the idea, Jeff. Maybe I misread what Kenne said ? I think I did. After 8 Newies this week, I don't think we need many at all next week. My suggestion of the "PLUS 10" was to allow us to vote for this week's new songs and others nearer the Top. I saw it as a consolidation of our current songs. But that's why I deleted this before. It's getting too complicated. That's my fault. Complicated is baaad. Thanks for your thoughts my friends, but we'll just leave voting 'as usual'.
