1 Robert Plant

2 Freddie Mercury

3 David Gilmour

4 Bono

5 Mick Jagger

6 Jim Morrison

7 John Fogerty

8 Debbie Harry

9 Steven Tyler

10 Michael Jackson (I give him credit for doing it at such a young age)

I left out the Beatles & Daltrey because they don't need my vote to make it in.

There are so many good artists out there that didn't get nominated. (e.g. Hendrix, P.Simon, L.Reed, Ozzy, B.Wilson, N.Young, E.Veddar, etc.)

My top five favorite groups of all time ( The Beatles, PF, ELP, and Led Zep) are represented here and I didn't vote for any of them. I'm shocked at myself.

My idea of an outstanding front person is someone who can completely captivate an audience not only with a back up band but as a personality.

Mick Jagger by far is not one of my favorite all time rockers but I have to admit his stage presence captivates an audience. He puts a lot of power, energy and personality into all his performances.

Thats pretty much what I based my criteria on :D

^^^ that is good criteria. I'm going with it.

Although I realize that I am the sole Roger Clyne fan in this entire SF group, I strongly believe that there would be many many more if you all would take time to listen to his stuff. He is as dynamic a front person as it gets, and RCPM's live shows are truly something to behold, due not in small part to his charisma and his way of just inhabiting the stage as if it were part of him.

That said, I suppose my vote will be the only one he'll get, which is a travesty.
