Viaene
Ah, but he chose what is probably the #1 one hit wonder of all time. I love Zep, I love Heartbreaker, but if we're talking best of the 60's ... that was probably a great calculated move. I'm considering something similar as well. But I kinda was gonna vote for Led Zeppelin, maybe I should change my nominations as well
Farin
maybe we should do a poll about which songs to nominate

Arguably one of the first alternative songs ever made, and one that many later artists got their influence from. Lucky
Maybe you should at that. Personally, I was originally going to nominate Wipe Out anyway. Plus I kind of started thinking in terms of songs that typify the decade, which for the Rolling Stones, the other two noms probably do that more, at least in my mind. We may have to go with Martin's idea of a poll to determine nominations. Oh and hey, welcome to SF, Clash, and to the Top Tens. Check out the regular weekly Ten as well, if you like! MindCrime
About how long do we have? Spirit in the Sky - Norman Greenbaum 1969 It hurts me to denominate my favorite band. I'm considering bringing back Led Zeppelin and replacing my Young Rascals nomination. I'm sorry for any confusion this has brought.

The Seeker
It was either that or See Me Feel Me (which got me into the Who) or Baba O'Riley next round. But like I said, it's the first song by them I ever heard. And I don't want to nominate the same band twice.
