This is my first song, written for my friend Jenny. It was published in a book of poetry recently too, and it can't be copy and pasted without my written permission.

A Waltz Through the Winter Snow

Snowflakes are falling,

all around me, in the air, outside.

You look so beautiful,

and my feelings for you,

I cannot hide any longer.

Lets take a waltz,

through the winter snow.

Dancing under the Christmas

lights soft glow.

Only you and me,

without another living soul,

through the winter snow.

The cold wind blows,

throughout this evening world.

But the fire in our hearts,

is burning so hot,

that no world of ice can freeze.

As we glide through the night

in a romantic bliss.

We stop, and share

one, single kiss.

Lets take a waltz,

through the winter snow.

Dancing under the Christmas

lights soft glow.

Only you and me,

without another living soul,

through the winter snow.

I was wondering if you had a melody for the lyrics as they are quite good. I've thought for some time that a good "new seasons" song with a catchy melody comparable to classic Christmas songs would be a sellout.

Your chorus has very much potential, IMO.

It does have music, mostly on piano. The drums are light and the guitar is acoustic and only playing chords in the chorus for rythym.
