I think Pink Floyd has a couple:

"Money, get back...."

"Hello? Is there anybody in there?"

Most people know those songs even if they aren't fans of the band or have heard anything else. As for other more recognizable lyrics, I would go with these:

"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave."

"Standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona...."

"Is this the real life, is this just fantasy?"

"If I leave here tomorrow...."

Oh Geeze...there's like a ton in my head, but here's just a few:

"People dancing, people laughing a man selling ice cream"

"Check the mirror, we're looking fly, round up the posse"

"Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies"

"And he's talking with Davy who's still in the

navy"

"It's a traffic jam when you're already

late"

And the probably the monster of them all: "I'm not much into health food I am into champagne"

"People dancing, people laughing a man selling ice cream = Saturday In The Park

"Check the mirror, we're looking fly, round up the posse = Just Got Paid

"Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies" = Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds

"And he's talking with Davy who's still in the

navy" = Piano Man

"It's a traffic jam when you're already

late" = Ironic

And the probably the monster of them all: "I'm not much into health food I am into champagne" = The Pina Colada Song

I guess like previously stated in other posts, one man's hit is another man's miss.

yeah, that's true...

for me to make a line one of the 'most recognisable' ones, means that (almost) everybody reads the line and immediately thinks of the specific song

the best examples have been given early in the thread...
