Uncle Joe Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 (edited) This is direct from Kim Komando's Cool Site Of The Day newsletter: Name that tune You've probably seen that iPhone commercial on television. It shows a program that will help you identify a song. That's really cool. But you don't need an iPhone to learn what song is playing. Instead, you can use a computer. With Tunatic, you don't need to remember artists' names. Nor do you have to search for pieces of song lyrics. All you have to do is hold your computer's microphone up to the speaker. In a matter of seconds, Tunatic will provide information on a song. OK, Tunatic isn't as portable as an iPhone. But it's free and works well! You can download it here Edited April 22, 2009 by Guest

MindCrime Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 This is the first time I've seen this thread. I will give it a try sometime.
Chris Akanora Posted January 9, 2012 Report Posted January 9, 2012 Tunatic just helped me out when I was trying to identify the background music for an old montage for Sept. 11 I had. I knew I'd heard it many times, but had no idea what it was or who wrote it. Tunatic took about ten seconds to identify it as John Williams' "Omaha Beach". I'm sold!
