Mike 2
That was the question 33 years ago, April 1976, I was in the grocery store, peered over at the magazine rack, my heart started racing... the prospect was intriguing -- would The Beatles reunite for $50 million dollars? Link I can't believe its been 33 years!!! I still have that mag around somewhere.
RonJonSurfer 15
$50 million couldn't entice a Herman's Hermits reunion today.
Mike 2
Adjusted for inflation over 33 years it would more like $200 million today. It's that about half what what they'd likely gross on a tour in 2009? If?
Wyld Card 5
I hope this doesn't involve digging up any rotting corpses.
edna 6
A trip back to 1965 would be better...
miamisammy29 4
Maybe they could have another one of those "Rock Star" shows, like the one they had for INXS. Anybody could front this shaky band.
Wyld Card 5
Millions would try-out, even thousands of well-known names.

It's really too bad they never could best , maybe, to just let it be "the dream is over" - John Lennon
Epiphany 0
The Beatles Today Guitars- Paul Bass-Paul All keyboards-Paul Brass instruments-Paul All Vocals-Paul Drums-Ringo Drum correction overdubs-Paul Yeah, I can see that. I think that the closest thing to a reunion will be the Rock Band game... which is coming out 9/9/9/9/9/9/9/9/09.
pinkstones 0
As much as it would be cool to see Paul and Ringo on the same stage again, with that many members of the band gone, it would be a waste.
Pattie Lennon 0
I have that magazine myself! Yeah, I remember those days too...hoping and praying that it was true and that they would come to their senses and start making music together again. I didn't care if they toured or not, I just wanted the music. I would love to have heard, for example, the full Beatles version of a song like "Instant Karma" or "Band On The Run". Fun to think about...
