Carl
I did some research on this as part of our interview with fellow Domino Bobby Whitlock. It seems Jim Gordon is still in prison, although according to the terms of his sentence, he is eligible for parole.
lotsahits
Didn't Jim kill his mother? Is he the only person to win a Grammy (for the cha-cha version of Layla as record of the year) while behind bars?

MuzikTyme
Even though Gordon is still mentally ill, he's content to remain in his hospital/prison as he turned down his last parole hearing. One day, he looks forward to retiring to a home overlooking the mountains. Let's hope that if he gets his wish, that he'll never see a demon again.
