Lucky
Joe, I've yet to listen to your Dixie Chicken nomination .... but the original version (Little Feat) is already on the list. Anyone that wants to vote for this song, can you hang on a bit until I've figured out if it's acceptable as a totally different version? Maybe it is, but let me just verify, ok? Since it's one of my favorite all time songs, I hope it is! Also I truly do appreciate yer goin' country for us Joe!! Edit: Dixie Chicken was originally released in 1973, and this nomination is of a live performance from '77, with some added personnel. Live performaces have been allowed in the past, after some discussion. I do apologize, but we need the opinions of the rest of the team on this one. Again, I'm going to ask that if you want to vote for this song you wait to cast your votes until tomorrow. Thanks for your patience! The Seeker
We've talked about Dixie Chicken and decided that it's eligible, since it's a version featuring other artists as well and was released on a live album too. Lucky edited my post to add all the other artists. Sorry about that, I was under the impression that Uncle Joe nominated the regular Little Feat version and I didn't check the list of songs that previously made the Top Ten, so I only put the songs as Little Feat and didn't check with anyone else. You may recommence voting now if you were waiting for a decision
