Mon-SOOON season. That's the term they use in Arizona, Kevin. I had never heard it used when referring to the rainy season anywhere in the US. I have recently heard our weather casters using the term "Monsoonal Moisture" when talking about a storm in the SW. Weird.

we are having a particularly dry monsoon season here, actually. Lot of wind, and spontaneous dust storms for the past 2 days, leaving layers of sand and dust on our vehicles like soot. Andy's windshield has a buildup about 1/3" thick since he hasn't driven his truck anywhere today.

I really wish it would rain here. It keeps "threatening" too and there's always a foreceast for scattered storms, but nothing happens. Our lawn is getting too crispy.

*Right now* though, I'm watching the Yankees/Tigers game.

I should go to bed cause I'm getting up at 4.40 tomorrow but I' d rather be here with my music and mac and stuff. My friends are facebooking like crazy on the other computer... and my husband has made dinner so I'm free.

I saw a Bruce Springsteen concert yesterday night on TV... very good!! there was Van Zandt, Nils, Patti, Clemmons and etc.

Now I'm going to get some food for cats, pay some bills and meet a friend at a bar.

You just ate lobster and now you're smoking a joint? I want to be just like you when I grow up, ma cherie.

I took your advice, Marc. I talked to myself and myself told me I should clean the house, shop, do laundry, cook something, go to the bank, pay bills, feed cats and then have a shower, wash my hair and be as cute as possible as I have to go to work in a couple of hours.

So that' s what I did. Now I'm posting here again...
