Kevin
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/The-NFL-s-regular-season-is-about-to-get-longer?urn=nfl,150196 This really doesn't strike me as a good idea . Although I love the game and would love to see a few more games , most teams are limping into the playoffs and often throughout the season as is . The game has become too fast and too hard to add to it. This is going to make it , even more , the sports equivalent of "Survivor " .
MindCrime
It needs to be an even amount of games (18 is good) so the home-visitor ratio is even.
RonJonSurfer
So this means that when I'm sitting in last place in the SF Fantasy Football league, I'll have to wait another two games before I'm put out of my misery?
Mike
I dunno. Do we really need more than 2 pre-season games then?
MindCrime
The teams still need all 4 pre-season games to determine which players will start and which ones need to be cut.

Batman
2,011 more games per season seems like a bit much
