LeeBB
On the album The Who Sell Out, there is the song: Heinz Baked Beans. Well, that's basically the premise of the whole album, ie it's pretending to be about 40 minutes of 60s commercial radio. My personal fave is "Odorono", which is also a great song, as well as being sweet, funny and cruel. LBBB
Carl
In it's own subversive way, Neil Young's This Note's For You mentions a bunch of stuff. Then there's My Adidas by Run-DMC.

Foolonthehill
Not a song, but a whole artist: The prog rock band Camel named themselves after the cigarettes. Their second album cover looked like a Camels pack. It wasn't allowed to be released like that in North America because Camel cigarettes' branch there wouldn't let them get away with it, but the UK version still has the original sleeve art. MindCrime
Humpty Dance - Digital Underground I like the girls with the boom I once got busy in a Burger King bathroom Funny that MTV and the radio banned the word Burger King, but allowed them to use "get busy" and other perverted obscenities throughout the song. musicalcure
oh-em-gee! I found the perfect song, and Not written for a commercial, just about them. Steve Goodman - Vegematic! I can't believe what you can find on youtube! Steve singing it on the album... Fell asleep last night with the T-V on. Oh, what a dream I had. I dreamed I answered every single one of those late night mail order ads. And four to six weeks later, much to my surprise, The mailman came to my front door, and I couldn't believe my eyes When he brought the Vegematic, and the Pocket Fisherman too, Illuminated illustrated history of life, And Boxcar Willie with a Ginzu knife, A bamboo steamer, and a Garden Weasel too, And a tie-dyed, dayglow souvenir shirt from Six Flags Over Burbank. The doorbell rang all morning and into the afternoon. I shook with fright as it rang all night to the light of the Master Card moon. There was Parcel Post in the pantry, and UPS in the hall, C O D's to the ceiling, and I just couldn't pay for it all. I got the egg scrambler, with a Seal-a-Meal carrying case, A set of presidential commemorative plates So I could eat my eggs off the President's face, A Minute Mender, and a needle that'll knit or crochet, And an autographed photograph of Rin Tin Tin at Six Flags Over Burbank. (same chords as 2nd verse:) I remembered I was dreaming, so I gave a mighty cheer. When I awoke, it was no joke, 'cause all that ******* was here. So if you fall asleep with the TV on, let me tell you what to do: Tear the telephone out of the wall unless you want it to happen to you. You'll get the Vegematic, and the Pocket Fisherman too, Illuminated illustrated history of life, And Boxcar Willie with a Ginzu knife, A bamboo steamer, and a smokeless ashtray too And an all expenses paid weekend for three at Six Flags Over Burbank. blind-fitter
Now there are some sad things known to man, but there aint too much sadder than... Adam Ant's attempt to adapt one of his own classic songs for the cause of advertising the plight of gorillas threatened with extinction. A laudible aim, maybe, but ... hmmm.
