Mike Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 What was/is it? Sunshine Day? I woke up in love this morning? ..maybe it was... The Iffon song? ..or one of my favorites... Dry bones!
Kevin Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 (edited) The theme to 'Gilligan's Island' - or do you mean only songs sung within a show ? In that case "I Think I Love You " by the Partridge Family - still a good tune to hear these days , as well as "Daydream Believer " and "Last Train to Clarksville " by The Monkees . LeeBB Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 (edited) Partridges (at least three great songs that I can think of) Bradys (not great, but fun-ish) Sesame Street Conchords (almost all of them) Simpsons (especially See My Vest) EDIT: Ooops! I forgot the Buffy musical episode "Once More With Feeling". A number of great songs in there, possibly my favourite single television episode ever. LBB Edited February 2, 2009 by Guest
MindCrime Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Where Everybody Knows Your Name (Theme from Cheers) written and performed by Gary Portnoy.
LeeBB Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 (edited) Where Everybody Knows Your Name (Theme from Cheers) written and performed by Gary Portnoy. Oh, are we talking theme songs? I was just thinking of songs that are sung "inside" the show. For themes: Suicide Is Painless Ballad Of Jed Clampett Angel Theme Twin Peaks Friends Hawaii 5-0 Hill Street Blues ... but best of all... Captain Scarlett (the original series) EDIT: Oh! What about Welcome Back Kotter?? I only found out years later who John Sebastian was. Well, there are a bazillion great TV themes. We should do a Top Ten? LBB Edited February 2, 2009 by Guest
